Cliffs Bar & Grill

THE CLIFFS NOTES:

● In 1996, Mike wanted to open up a second family sandwich and beer shop called Cliffs after his Dad's restaurant in the Carolinas which was located ironically, on a cliff! And so the legacy began...

● In 1998, Cliffs was sold to the amazing Miss Kay who relocated the business to Florida and transformed the restaurant into a cherished gem in East Arlington...and into the establishment, we know today!

● In 2004, Miss Kay sold Cliffs Bar & Grill to Jim & Lori who elevated the now popular venue into a Jacksonville community icon, offering live entertainment and hosting many charity events.

● Fast forward to 2014, there were big shoes left to fill when Jim & Lori decided it was time for the next chapter in their lives.

● Not only did Daniel & Shae develop a fast friendship with Jim & Lori through the purchase of the business, but so did Daniel & Shae's ambition to keep the dream, history, and legacy of Cliffs alive and growing!

ABOUT DANIEL & SHAE LATHROP

Our dream began with our desire to combine our shared passion of cooking and cocktails with our love for entertaining our close friends and family. We have always enjoyed being together in the kitchen, planning our next gathering, event, or themed party... as well as chasing down the newest restaurants in town. After getting entirely too burned out in the Management and IT industries, we relocated ourselves and our dreams to Jacksonville, Florida. Shortly after moving, we became loyal "Cliffhangers" at Cliffs and met former owners Jim & Lori. Who would of known that we would now be owners of Cliffs Bar & Grill!

Thanks to the continued support of our family, staff, friends, and community Cliffs stays true to being your favorite place to hang, offering something for every one, every day. Cheer to many more happy moments and memories to come!

With Much Love & Gratitude,

Daniel & Shae
